This well-proven method is suitable for the treatment of category 2 & 3 haemorrhoids by banding. The system is lightweight and portable, and suitable for use in hospital outpatients, endoscopy, day surgery, OR settings and other clinical sites.
The Stericom suction banding system has three main components: | 1. Portable suction aspirator This small, lightweight (3.1kg) and portable suction machine is ideal for use in OPD or clinical settings where no suction is otherwise available.
With a maximum suction pressure of 80kps these aspirators are ideal for banding, where low pressure suction is needed and where a higher rate of aspiration might risk trauma to the haemorrhoid.
The suction aspirator is delivered with a sealed 4m blue-coloured mains lead for maximum convenience in clinic, and a 24-month warranty.

| 2. LEM Banding Guns & Rings The pistol-shaped, single-use LEM suction bander is easy to load and use, popular and successful in hospitals and clinics in the UK and elsewhere. Moulded in tough ABS polymer, the LEM is delivered in a box of 25x banders, each one peel-pouched, and is available either with or without rings. An individual loading cone is included in each pouch.

Proctoscopes for Banding The SMA 4023 flute-ended proctoscope has been designed as the ideal complement for the suction banding system. The 23mm diameter of the 4023 enables the bander to be used inside the barrel of the scope with ease and with plenty of room for manoeuvre.
